The Skamania County Community Events & Recreation department handles camping reservations for fair. Requests for camping spots will be made through 4-H club leaders. If you are an open class exhibitor requesting a camping spot, please contact the office.
About the Campgrounds:
Camping Spaces Marked in Red are 50amp hookups, limited water spigots, no sewer. All Spaces are 40'x15' . 1-12 on the pavement are a bit larger and reserved for Fair Board superintendents..
Camping Spaces Marked in Purple are 30amp hookups, no water, no sewer. All spaces are 40'x15'.
Camping Spaces Marked in Green are Non-electric camping. Spaces 91-114 are 40x15 and Spaces 200-232 are for tents/cab over campers and are 20 x15.
Non-Electric Spots are $75.39 for the week of fair
Electric Spots are $150.78 for the week of fair
Please note: These prices include tax. 4-H clubs collect fees and submit one check per club to Skamania County. All reservations for 4-H exhibitors will be made through their club leaders. There is no guarantee for spots with power or preferred locations, but the County will do their best to accommodate all requests. Camping spots are reserved for exhibitors and their immediate family and should not be reserved for relatives and visitors.
Dogs are allowed in the campground only, but must be attended or tied up. If dogs are obnoxious, they may be asked to be removed. No bikes are allowed anywhere on the campgrounds or fairgrounds.
There is a dump station located east of the fairgrounds in a large gravel parking lot.
Skamania County Community Events and Recreation will reach out to all clubs for camping requests. 4-H'ers will submit their requests directly to their club leaders.
All vehicles, campers, RV's or tents must fit within the lines. Any vehicle out in the fire lanes will risk occupants of the camping spaces being blacklisted from camping at future events. Additional parking is may be available outside of the fairgrounds.
