Skamania County Senior Services provides two nutrition programs - Congregate Meals and Home Delivered Meals.

Congregate Meal Program:
This popular program is aimed at persons over age 60 who are able to benefit from a social setting. Noon meals are served Monday, Wednesday and Friday at Rock Creek Center in Stevenson. The program provides older adults with a hot, nutritious meal and an opportunity to socialize. It is also a time to enjoy games, music, and arts and crafts.

Home Delivered Meal Program:
For persons who are 60 & older and are home-bound that may have long-term or emergency needs, meals are delivered to your house. A hot meal is delivered to eligible persons in the Stevenson and Carson area on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Frozen meals are provided in other areas and for days when hot meals are not available.

How to Participate

Congregate Meal Program:
New participants are encouraged to call Senior Services and let us know they are coming to the meal, but no reservation is required. The suggested donation is $3.00 per meal for persons age 60 and older. However, no senior will be denied service. For persons under age 60, the required cost is $5.00 per meal.
