Detention

The Skamania County Juvenile Department contracts with Northern Oregon Regional Corrections (NORCOR) in The Dalles, OR and Clark County Juvenile Court in Vancouver, WA to house delinquent youth who have been arrested or ordered by the court to serve time in detention. They are located at:

Electronic Home Monitoring

Electronic Home Monitoring is a cost effective option that allows Probation Counselors to closely supervise the youth's movements and adherence to the rules. It is used as an alternative to detention when youth are awaiting court or serving a sentence of confinement at his/her residence.
