The Skamania County Board of Health, mandated by the Revised Code of Washington 43.20, consists of the three (3) County Commissioners. The board is responsible for the health needs of Skamania County residents, as well as coordination of projects and resources to meet and identify these needs.  Tasks carried out by the Skamania County Board of Health include disease prevention, health education and implementation of laws pertaining to public health.

The Board of Health meets the second Tuesday of each month in the Commissioners' boardroom on the lower level of the Skamania County Courthouse. Please see the calendar below for meeting dates and times. Meeting dates and locations that are adjusted will be noted in the current month's agenda.

    1. Approval of minutes from the January 7, 2020, Planning Commission Meeting. 
    2. Public Hearing, consideration, and vote on proposed adoption of a revised Critical Areas Ordinance. The proposal will replace the County’s existing critical areas regulations, first adopted in 1996. The update is being conducted as part of the required periodic review by the Growth Management Act.

    1. Consideration and vote on proposed amendments to the Planning Commission’s bylaws.
