Learn about how to help protect and enhance surface water on your property; when to call, who to call, and what to do to achieve your goals.

The Columbia River Gorge is seemingly plentiful with water during the wet winter months, but our area streams can be flow-limited in the dry months, affecting both aquatic life and local water rights.  Navigating best practices as well as regulations regarding our shared water resources can be a confusing process at best. Spend a day with the Underwood Conservation District and partners as we untangle important issues around water rights and explore protecting water resources including streams, seeps, and wetlands through best management practices. Pick up new tips and ask questions of our knowledgeable presenters. 

Lunch is provided, with donations accepted to cover the cost, and the event will end with an optional field trip to learn more about water protection and conservation.
