We do not process Passport Renewals or form DS-82, please visit travel.state.gov for instructions. Forms are available for pick up. 

What you need to bring: (Form DS-11)

• Your previous passport OR a certified copy of your birth record, or Naturalization Certificate AND photo identification
• Passport photo,
• Your completed unsigned application
• Payment (in the form of check or money order)
• For Children under the age of 16, both parents and the child must be present when applying. Or a notarized statement of consent not more than 3 months old. Children under the age of 16 cannot renew their passport. DS-11 required.

Your check payable to U.S. Dept of State is sent on to the passport agency. Your fee to the County Clerk ($35 per application) is payable by credit card, check or cash. Applications can be obtained from our office directly, or at the passport website, travel.state.gov. This website also has information about expediting your application and applying for passports of children under the age of 16.

What to expect:

With the proper documentation, processing time should take only about 30 minutes per application. We will review your application, collect the required documents, and ask that you wait to sign the application until your instructed to do so. You can expect delivery of your passport within 6 to 8 weeks for routine service or 2 to 3 weeks, for expedite processing with an extra $60 fee, and optional overnight return fee.

Travelers leaving within 14 days with an Itinerary may need to make an appointment with the Passport Agency. Contact the National Passport Information Center at 1(877)487-2778 to make an appointment.
