Long-range planning is dedicated to the development, implementation, and maintenance of goals and policies that help to guide growth and development in the future. Services include the implementation and maintenance of the County's Comprehensive Plan that provides a long-term vision and consistency for local development and infrastructure programs (current planning). Other services provided include the continuous review, analysis, and possible updating of the County's Development Regulations, Shoreline Management Act, SEPA, etc.
