RESOLUTION 2002-70

(Establishing Legal Holidays for 2003)

BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by this Board of County Commissioners that pursuant to RCW 1.16.050, the following days are constituted and shall be observed as legal holidays for the calendar year 2003 in observance of the event, individual, or official noted:

Wednesday January 1, 2003 New Year’s Day (2003)

Monday January 20 Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

Monday February 17 President’s Day

Monday May 26 Memorial Day

Friday July 4 Independence Day

Monday September 1 Labor Day

Tuesday November 11 Veteran’s Day

Thursday November 27 Thanksgiving Day

Friday November 28 Day after Thanksgiving

Thursday December 25 Christmas Day

Thursday January 1, 2004 New Year’s Day (2004)

Note: When a holiday falls on Saturday, the Friday before will be substituted.

When the holiday falls on Sunday, the following Monday will be substituted.
