RESOLUTION 2002-43

RESOLUTION WITH INTENT TO VACATE A PORTION OF COUNTY ROAD WITHIN SKAMANIA COUNTY

WHEREAS, (Old) Curly Creek Road, County Road No. 20040, is a county road listed on our County Road Log commencing at Wind River Road at Mile Post 28.15 for a length of about 7.14 miles, and

WHEREAS, the Skamania County Board of Commissioners considers that a county road know as (Old) Curly Creek Road, County Road No. 20040, between Mile Post 0.00 and Mile Post 7.14 (end), may be useless to the general public as a part of the public road system, and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Skamania County, Washington, declares its intent to vacate and abandon that portion of (Old) Curly Creek Road between Mile Post 0.00 and Mile Post 7.14 (end); and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that in accordance with RCW 36.87.010, the County Engineer is hereby ordered to examine (Old) Curly Creek Road, and as required by RCW 36.87.040, report his findings to the Board.
