RESOLUTION NO. 2002-31

In the matter of initiating a county road project designated as C.R.P. NO. 2002-04

BE IT RESOLVED by the Skamania County Board of Commissioners (Board) that the Mt Pleasant Transfer Site Scale Facility Project be approved for bid, award and construction by Small Works Roster.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this project is hereby declared to be a public necessity and the County Engineer is hereby ordered and authorized to proceed as directed by Skamania County Resolution 2001-16.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that an appropriation from the officially adopted road fund budget and based on the county engineer’s estimate is hereby made in the amounts and for the purposes as shown:

PURPOSE AMOUNT OF APPROPRIATION

Provide a Turn Key Scale Facility

At Mt Pleasant transfer Site $50,000

This project is included in the officially adopted annual road program as Item No. 6

The project is hereby made a part of the officially adopted road program in accordance with RCW 6.81.130.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board has reviewed and hereby approves the attached maps, plans, and specifications.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board has determined that: (Check Appropriate Box)

The construction of this project shall be accomplished by contract in accordance with RCW 36.77.075 and RCW 39.04.155.

The construction of this project shall be accomplished by contract in accordance with RCW 39.04.155. The Board directs and authorizes the Public Works Director to request quotes or bids from qualified contractors from the Small Works Roster.

The construction is to be accomplished by county forces in accordance with RCW 36.77.065 and WAC 136-18.
