RESOLUTION 2002-08

(Fee schedule for the use of recreation equipment)

WHEREAS, the Skamania County Board of Commissioners set the fees for recreational programs offered by Skamania County; and

WHEREAS, the County desires to provide recreation equipment for rent at reasonable rates to its citizens; and

WHEREAS, the fee schedule for renting recreational equipment from Skamania County Community Events and Recreation outlined in Attachment “A” reflects the market for recreation rental equipment.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Skamania County Board of Commissioners do hereby adopt the rate schedule as proposed in Attachment “A” effective immediately.

PASSED IN REGULAR SESSION this 11th day of February, 2002.

ATTACHMENT “A”

(Fee schedule for recreational equipment rental)

Snowshoes

Daily Fees:

Adults $12.00

Children $6.00

Weekend Fees (Friday-Monday):

Adults $18.00

Children $12.00

Paddle Boats (Paddle Boats to be used in Rock Cove only)

$7.00 per hour

(Maximum seating for four. No more than two adults per boat).

Kayak (Includes paddle and PFD. Kayaks to be used in Rock Cove only)

$12.00 per hour

Climbing Shoes

$1.00 per climbing session

Windsurfing (Includes all equipment needed to sail. Renter must rig own sails. To be used in Rock Cove only)

$12.00 per two hour block of time, 2 hour minimum

All renters must complete a rental agreement form and waiver. Renters must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid drivers license.
