RESOLUTION 2005-32

 

(Department of Planning and Community Development Fee Schedule to replace all previous Department of Planning and Community Development fee schedule resolutions)

 

WHEREAS, the Skamania County Department of Planning and Community Development is responsible for the administration of the Skamania County Code (SCC) Title 16 (Environment), SCC Title 17 (Subdivisions), SCC Title 18 (Mobile Homes and Recreational Vehicle Parks), SCC Title 20 (Shoreline Management), SCC Title 21 (Zoning), SCC Title 21A (Critical Areas), SCC Title 22 (Skamania County Management Plan for Columbia River Gorge (NSA), and SCC Title 23 (Forest Practices Moratorium); and,

 

WHEREAS, each of the above referenced Skamania County Code Titles contain language indicating a fee may be charged for review of applications and appeals, and that fees shall be established by resolution of the Board of County Commissioners; and,

 

WHEREAS, the Skamania County Department of Planning and Community Development is responsible for providing copies of requested Planning Department information/documentation to the public; and,

 

WHEREAS, the cost of processing applications and appeal has increased since 1999 and no comparable adjustment has been made in the fee schedule;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Skamania County Board of Commissioners that the Skamania County Department of Planning and Community Development shall charge the following fees for land use applications and requested Planning Department information/documentation:

*Actual cost will be calculated at the rate of salary and benefits for the employee performing the work, plus all publication costs.  The applicant will be sent an itemized bill each month.  If a bill is not paid or payment is returned as Non Sufficient Funds (NSF), then all review on the EIS will stop until the valid payment has been received.
