RESOLUTION NO. 2005-13
(Amending Fees for Rock Creek Center, Stevenson Grange and Skamania
County Swim Pool)
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 1999-43 establishes a “Rental Policy for Skamania County Fairgrounds and Parks”; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2002-07 establishes a “Fee Schedule for Stevenson Grange”; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2002-13 establishes a “Fee Schedule for Skamania County Swim Pool”; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined to be in the best interest of the County to amend the rates of these Skamania County Facilities;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Skamania County Commissioners do hereby adopt the following fee schedules for “Rock Creek Recreation Center, Stevenson Grange, and Skamania County Swim Pool” effective April 11, 2005.
Fee Schedule Rock Creek Recreation Center
PRIORITY OF USE AND FEE REQUIREMENTS
Individuals, groups, and organizations will be awarded a “Use Permit” on a first-come, first-serve basis, based on the following priorities:
Classification I: Non-county Local Government Agencies, 50-year Anniversaries, 80 years and older Birthday Parties, and Memorial Services.
Per adopted Activity Fee Schedule
Classification II: Resident and Community Organizations.
Per adopted Activity Fee Schedule
Classification III: Non-Residents and out of County community organizations.
Per adopted Activity Fee Schedule
Classification IV: Commercial use, business or individuals who are using facility for a commercial, for-profit purposes.
Double, or two-time (2X) the Classification III fee
Priority within each classification will be made on the type of activity and the following criteria:
1. Care of Facilities (Past History)
2. Proper Supervision and Security
3. Payments of Fees and completion of paperwork
4. Residential Status
Recreation Center Fees: All fees are for a 5-hour block of time. Any rental extending over 5 hours shall pay twice the amount of the 5-hour rental fee.

A Cleaning Deposit of $100.00 will be charged to users of the Auditorium and Kitchen. A Cleaning Deposit of $250.00 will be charged to users of the Auditorium and Kitchen where Alcohol will be served. (Note: Proper permits, licenses and insurance are required for renters desiring to serve alcohol).
Deposit is refundable if, after use, and after inspection, clean up is satisfactorily completed.

Individuals, groups and organizations will be awarded a “Use Permit” on a first-come first serve basis, utilizing the following fee structure:
Classification I: Non-county Local Government Agencies, 50-year Anniversaries, 80 years and older Birthday Parties, and Memorial Services.

Clean-Up Fee: A deposit of $100.00 will be charged to users of the Hall and Kitchen. A deposit of $250.00 will be charged to users of the Hall and Kitchen where alcohol will be served. (Note: Proper permits, licenses and insurance are required for renters desiring to serve alcohol).
NOTE: For groups classified as type III who use the facility on a continuous monthly schedule, a special lease fee can be negotiated.
Long-term commercial use agreements may be entered into at the discretion of the Community Events & Recreation Director.
