R E S O L U T I O N 2005-09

(Amending Resolution No. 1987-08 and 1991-23,

Skamania County District Court Petty Cash Change Fund)

WHEREAS, a petty cash fund was established in 1987 by Resolution No. 1987-08 in the amount of $50.00, and amended in 1991 by Resolution 1991-23 to $250.00; and

WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the Board of County Commissioners by the District Court that their office will now be operating with four (4) separate cash drawers. Per request of the Washington State Auditor, each employee will have their own cash drawer with a beginning balance of $200.00.

WHEREAS, for the above stated reasons the District Court has determined the need to increase the “Petty Cash Change Fund” from $250.00 to $800.00, ($200.00 for each drawer).

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by this Board of County Commissioners that Resolution 1987-08 and Resolution 1991-23 shall be amended to increase the Skamania County District Court’s Change Fund from $250.00 to $800.00 for the reason and purpose as stated hereinabove.
