RESOLUTION 2003-54

(Establishing Legal Holidays for 2004)

BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by this Board of County Commissioners that pursuant to RCW 1.16.050, the following days are constituted and shall be observed as legal holidays for the calendar year 2004 in observance of the event, individual, or official noted:

Thursday January 1, 2004 New Year’s Day (2004)

Monday January 19 Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

Monday February 16 President’s Day

Monday May 31 Memorial Day

Monday July 5 Independence Day

Monday September 6 Labor Day

Thursday November 11 Veteran’s Day

Thursday November 25 Thanksgiving Day

Friday November 26 Day after Thanksgiving

Friday December 24 Christmas Day

Friday December 31, 2004 New Year’s Day (2005)

Note: When a holiday falls on Saturday, the Friday before will be substituted.

When the holiday falls on Sunday, the following Monday will be substituted.
